We decided to renovate the old houses, stables and barns of our ancestors while preserving their appearance and soul, so we transformed them into an agritourism business. All this was possible thanks to the hard work of my father Virgilio, known as the "Capomastro" ("master builder"), and my husband Angelo, whose great efforts and enthusiasm helped this dream of ours come true.

We want to meet new friends and share our history and traditions, rooted in this ancient village of the Ligurian hinterland.

We are in Vignolo, a hamlet in Nasino, in the green and peaceful Val Pennavaire.
Here in the village, founded by the Romans, you can breathe the nature, history and traditions of Liguria.

The Pennavaire Valley is considered the cradle of the Ligurians, the oldest human settlements, found in the many caves in the valley which date back as far as 9,000 years ago. The finds are on display in Albenga's anthropological museum.

Spiked routes for climbing
Val Pennavaire has numerous cliffs, known as "Albenga", with 1,300 routes and 41 cliffs, while in Vignolo there are just 3 cliffs with 58 routes. Many climbers choose the valley as their preferred destination for climbing all year round!

Excursions and trails on foot or by bike
The large number of trails offer excursions to suit everyone: from family walks to more demanding ones that reach peaks over 1,000 m above sea level.

History: from the Neanderthals to the Middle Ages
Val Pennavaire was home to Neanderthal man, who inhabited the numerous caves, some of which, like the Arma Veirana, are considered highly important and are the subject of international studies.
Albenga hosts the finds in the anthropological museum. Albenga also has other museums to visit: the Roman naval museum, the "Magical Transparencies" exhibition, the diocese museum and the numerous Roman excavations.

Beach and sea
From Nasino, sea-lovers can easily reach the seaside resorts of Albenga, Alassio and Laigueglia.

In Albenga we grow the famous daisies that are exported throughout Europe, as well as many other varieties of flowers, such as: carnations, buttercups, violets, primroses, geraniums, gazanias and perennials.

We also grow saffron in jars. You can buy one to try your hand at growing it on your balcony or as an unusual gift for your friends.
We also sell saffron in dried pistils that you can enjoy in risottos and other recipes!
